Synchrony refresh issues with Direct Access.

5/17/22: FIX to be deployed on 5/18.

Over the last week or so, Synchrony has sent a message to all Synchrony customers who have registered accounts in digital servicing about changes being made to the customer’s account section of their website. The site changes allow Synchrony customers who have more than one account to see all their account information in one place rather than across multiple platforms. Yodlee has made the necessary code changes to accommodate the new site. The changes will go into effect on 5/18/22.

On or after 5/18/22 please perform the following steps in order to get your Synchrony accounts set up for Direct Access:

  1. Disable Direct Access for all Synchrony accounts in Banktivity. You can do this by double-clicking the account in the sidebar and then choosing “Check Status” and then “Take Offline”. You will need to do this for all Synchrony accounts before setting up Direct Access again.
  2. Re-enable online access. Double-click on the Synchrony account again and choose “Configure Connection” and follow the prompts to select your bank and finish setting up the connection. If you have more than one Synchrony account, you should only need to choose one bank from the list to re-enable all accounts in Banktivity.

5/4/22: The Direct Access team is still working with Synchrony to resolve the refresh issue. We are sorry for the inconvenience. In the meantime, you should be able to import your transactions manually using Banktivity’s built-in web browser.

4/29/22: The ETA has been pushed. Yodlee is continuing to work with Synchrony on some site changes. We will post updates once we have more to share.

4/14/22: Yodlee continues to work with Synchrony on the refresh issue. We should have an ETA update next week (4/18).

We are seeing some account refreshing issues with various Synchrony cards. We are investigating the cause and will post an update once we learn more. Sorry for the inconvenience we know this is causing.
